Play day Friday

Each Friday Josha nd his friends, Elodie, Simi, Christine, and Drew get together and one of their houses for a play day afternoon. we normally head to the park if the weather is nice for a play and then back for coffee and cake. They are loads of fun and i just love seeing the kids playing altogether......

Josh brushing his teeth

Our clever little man even brushes his own teeth now....when ever i try to do this for him he takes his toothbrush of me and away he goes. Just loves it.....

He has also learnt to blow his nose. we just hold tissue to his face and say blow and again away he goes.....so cute

A year in the life of Joshua

Hi there,

Wow can you believe it, Josh is now 1 year, 1 month and 2 days old.......how time flies. i remember just yesterday bringing him home from hospital all wrapped up in a blanket.......

It has been an amazing year for Del and i and i am sure lots more exciting times ahead.

Josh is now walking, tries to run but normally falls over, he weighs in at 12.5kg(has a little baby belly a bit like his dads), is saying, mumma,dadda,bubba,oh dear, cud cud, bye bye and lots of other baby babble. He is eating pretty much the same as us now and has a very healthy appetite. he has loads of hair(actually needs a hair cut), is approx 80cm tall and smiles all the time. He has become very mischievies and loves to play with things he is not allowd and loves turning the tv on and off as well as the sky. Josh has 7 teeth through, the teething process has been rather easy so far, and i a size 6 shoe!

I will post over the comimg weeks some more pics of the past year and will go back to foto friday.

Josh's 1ST Birthday

a month ago now we celebrated Josh's 1st birthday.....

We through him a party with his friends in the pub, there was lots of cakes, kiddy snacks and bubbles. the kids all played for a few hours and we then retired upstairs and our friends joined us for a braai and more birthday cake.

I am sure Josh was unaware of what was happening but he had a great day and so did we.

Foto Friday

This was taken last week at the park across from Elodie's house. We played for about an hour on the swings, slide, spinning wheel and in the sand pit. Josh loves going to the park....
